As I watched this, I was struck by the fact that today, perhaps more than any time before, we live in a world of our own making. With technology, we can create what appears to be a physical space that is really only our imaginations projected before our eyes, but with such detail that we can not discern it from a real physical space.
This short video breaks down the composite layers to unfold just a bit of the sophisticated technical and artistic mastery required to produce such a beautiful piece.
Where will this technical possibility take us? But perhaps the more important question is where will we take the technical possibility we have before us? I wish I heard more conversation about this later question.
