Warning: This post is for the true geek at heart!
Johnny Lee has a really interesting post/video/project on how to make your own, inexpensive, interactive whiteboard using a Wii remote. This guy is amazingly clever, creative, and smart. The project looks like something I could actually do! Apparently he was invited to TED 2008 to present this idea.
So if you're just dying to have an interactive whiteboard, and every teacher should be!, but don't have enough money to purchase one and aren't afraid to try something just a tad geeky, this might be for you. Click the video to see his demo and discussion about how it works.
He has two other clever projects using the Wii remote. His post "Head Tracking for Desktop VR Displays using the Wii Remote" project just blows my mind. Check out his three Wii posts/videos/projects at his site.
